Will VITEEE 2020 be postponed due to COVID-19 :- 

Yes you heard it right. VITEEE can also be postponed as mains is postponed for now. If the corona virus continue to spread in India then VITEEE can also be postponed be the VIT .

As a precautionary measure to avoid the spread of coronavirus, many state exams have been cancelled or rescheduled. Colleges and institutes in different parts of the country have been shut till March 31 in different states. VITEEE is the common entrance exam for admission to the B.Tech course in VIT University for all four campuses at Vellore, Andhra Pradesh, Bhopal and Chennai.

Students preparing for the VITEEE 2020 exam are susceptible whether their exam will be postponed due to Coronavirus outbreak as many exams in different parts of the country have been rescheduled. VITEEE 2020 is scheduled to be conducted from April 13 to 19 in different parts of the country including some centres in states where schools and colleges have been shut to avoid the spread of coronavirus. As many colleges and institutes have been shut, students are doubtful and apprehensive whether the VITEEE 2020 will be postponed.

The officials of the VIT  and they have confirmed that the exam will be held as per the schedule. Any delay or reschedule, if happens, will be intimated to candidates through official website and other channels like news and press releases. “Students are advised to keep studying for the exam as per the earlier announced dates and do not pay attention to any rumors regarding the reschedule of the exam. VIT will inform aspirants about any such reschedule much advanced to the slated date of exam so as to give students proper time for their studies” Confirmed Officials.

  1. VITEEE is conducted by Vellore Institute of Technology. The minimum eligibility criteria to apply for VITEEE 2021 will be a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Chemistry, Physics, Biology/Mathematics in Class 12. Over 2 Lakh students apply for VITEEE entrance exam every year. All the eligible candidates will be offered admissions to B.Tech programs at VIT Vellore, Chennai, Bhopal and Amravati. Registration for the same could be done in both online and offline mode.
